Job Title: Bookkeeper (1 vacant)
Job Type: Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week)
Wage: $36.00/hour
Work Location: #280, 4936 87 Street NW Edmonton, Alberta T6E 5W3
Job duties include:
-Keep and establish, maintain and balance accounts of various financial records;
-Prepare financial statements, reconcile accounts, issue daily journal sums, prepare book reconciliations, maintain general ledger;
-Calculate and count payroll, water, electricity, taxes and other expense bills;
-Organize, complete and file tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution forms and other government documents;
-Personal bookkeeping services, preparation and filing of tax returns;
-Prepare statistical, financial and accounting reports.
Job requirements:
-Completion of secondary school is required;
-Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field or completion of two years (first level) of a recognized professional accounting program;
-2+ years relevant work experience.
