A private household in Edmonton is seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care provider to assist children with daily living activities and personal care in a home setting. This full-time position includes key responsibilities in meal preparation ,light housekeeping , personal hygiene assistance, medication reminders, and knowledge about CPR and first aid. Applicants should possess a college diploma along with recent caregiving certifications. The wage for this position is $20.00 per hour, and the work will be carried out in the employer's home.
Qualifications:
- Female, single, between 20-35 years old
- A Filipino
- Flexible and adaptable
- Approachable and friendly
- at least 6 months of experience in childcare
- Able to work with a child with special needs specially with down syndrome
- Able to pick up children from school when needed (e.g. by bus or walking)
- College graduate and a recent Caregiving certifications
- Caring, patience, and compassionate with children
Requirements:
- work schedule may start as early as 5:00
- may be required to work until midnight
- Must be able to speak Tagalog and English
