Job Overview:
We are currently looking for a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a Grounds Maintenance Worker at our company, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the beauty and functionality of various outdoor spaces as well as performing general maintenance tasks around the building and complex. This position requires someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for upkeeping an apartment rental complex located in South Edmonton. Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm
Responsibilities:
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to maintain outdoor landscapes
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, watering, snow removal, ice fighting
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain equipment effectively
- Perform maintenance tasks in the suites and common areas of the apartment complex
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working
Requirements:
- Prior experience in grounds maintenance and general handy person maintenance experience is preferred
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
- Knowledge of irrigation systems an asset
- Ability to work effectively in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects when necessary
