About Us: AllStone Inc. sells, manufactures, and installs all of its stone products. Installation services are an essential part of our operations, and without them the business cannot function. Our primary markets are high-end residential and commercial projects. Residential work often involves unique and expensive natural stone, while commercial projects include architectural installations such as wall cladding, flooring, and other custom applications. Given the high value of materials and finished products, precision and experience are critical, and there is no tolerance for installation failure.
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Granite Setter to join our installation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate, safe, and professional installation of natural and engineered stone products in residential and commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Load and unload the installation vehicle with stone products using appropriate lifting aids.
• Use temporary reinforcements to prevent breakage, as required by material type.
• Measure stone pieces to verify accuracy and proper fit.
• Check prepared surfaces using levels and squares and adjust piece fit with grinders as required.
• Assemble and adhere stone products using mortar, silicone, epoxy, and/or construction adhesives.
• Apply caulking or grout to fill joints and gaps.
• Apply sealers as required to protect finished surfaces.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment at all job sites.
Qualifications:
• No specific education is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with Terra surfaces, including natural stone, manufactured (man-made) quartz, and sintered materials.
• Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience across a range of surface materials; experience limited to only one material type will not be considered sufficient.
• A valid driver’s license is an asset.
• Ability to work with precision on high-value materials and finished products.
• Experience with residential and commercial stone installations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a skilled installation team.
• Physically able to perform lifting and installation duties using appropriate aids.
