Rush Management Ltd. has an immediate opening for 1 experienced Supervisor, Painters and Drywall Installers.
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of painters, drywall installers, tapers, finishers, and related restoration personnel
- Assign work to crew members and ensure projects are completed according to restoration scopes, specifications, timelines, and quality standards
- Inspect painting, drywall installation, finishing, and restoration work to ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements
- Coordinate labour, materials, tools, equipment, and subcontractors required for restoration and renovation projects
- Train workers in job duties, restoration procedures, safe work practices, and company policies
- Resolve work-related issues and recommend measures to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality of work
- Establish work methods and monitor project progress to ensure deadlines and project objectives are achieved
- Estimate material and labour requirements and assist with project planning and scheduling
- Order and coordinate delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment required for painting and drywall operations
- Prepare work progress reports and maintain project documentation and records
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation of workers
- Read and interpret blueprints, project specifications, and restoration scopes of work
- Perform skilled painting, drywall installation, drywall finishing, taping, and restoration work as required to support project completion
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with restoration standards
Education: High school diploma required; additional trade-related training, apprenticeship training, or certification in painting, drywall installation, drywall finishing, or a related construction trade is an asset.
Language of work: English.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in painting, drywall installation, drywall finishing, restoration, or renovation projects
- Previous supervisory, lead hand, foreperson, or crew leader experience is required
- Proven experience coordinating workers and construction activities on multiple projects
- Strong knowledge of painting systems, drywall installation methods, finishing techniques, coatings, and restoration procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and restoration scopes of work
- Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and proper use of PPE
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality workmanship under tight timelines
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including bending, crouching, kneeling, lifting, climbing ladders, and working at heights
Own Tools/Equipment: Workers must supply basic PPE (safety glasses/goggles, hard hat, and steel-toed footwear); additional trade tools are an asset.

Compensation: $36.92 per hour; overtime paid after 44 hours per week at 1.5× the regular hourly rate.
