• Based in Edmonton, AB
• Required to drive to various client locations in the Province of Alberta
• Willing to travel for extended periods, including overnight
o Travel and living-out expenses covered, per company policy

Salary:
• $34.00 (starting) to $36.00 per hour, to be negotiated based on experience
• Salary increases as per company policy
Terms and Conditions of Employment:
• Permanent, year-round
• Full-time (40-50 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday)
o Shifts include early morning, morning, day, evening, weekend, and night

Credentials:
• Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
• Air Brakes Endorsement
• Must be willing and able to pass a company driving test

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, steel-toed safety boots, cellular phone
Duties:
• Plan routes according to conditions using GPS
• Operate and drive manual straight or articulated (tractor-trailer) refrigeration trucks to transport goods and materials
• Maneuvering and backing up heavy trucks or trailers at various delivery sites, including narrow streets, back alleys, etc.
• Manually load and unload goods and hand-bomb them into customer locations
• Perform routine pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate records of delivery routes/distance travelled/hours of service, cargo information, fuel consumption, temperature logs, count sheets, and incident reporting
• Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment; and perform emergency roadside repairs as necessary
• Perform preventive maintenance and brake adjustments
• Provide professionalism in customer service
• Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch using Citizens Band (CB) radio
• Follow health and safety and work procedures
Other:
• The company will provide training on GPS and e-Logs.
