High School Diploma / or Equivalency
Languages:
Speak English, Read English, and Write English.
Credentials:
Driver's License Class 1 or A
Air Brake (Z) Endorsement

Local, Regional, Home at the end of each shift.
Work Location Information:
Various Locations, Start and End shift in Edson.
Documentation Knowledge:
Logbook, Bill of Lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Accident or incident reports.
Communication Equipment Experience:
Citizens band (CB) radio, Cellular Phone, Weight Handling: Up to 23kg (50 lbs).
Specific Skills:
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Loading and Unloading of goods, Tarping and ensuring safety / security of cargo, Receive and relay information to central dispatcher, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment. Perform brake adjustments and Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness.
Additional Skills:
2-3 years of mountain driving expertise.

Own Tools / Equipment:
Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat.
Transportation / Travel Information:
Own transportation, Valid class 1 license.
